Mrs Bridges original marmalade is the only one still being produced in the home of marmalade - Dundee. Traditional taste and full of pieces of tangy orange zest.
According to a Scottish legend, the creation of orange marmalade in Dundee occurred by accident. Some people claim that marmalade was invented in the 1700s when a storm damaged ship carrying a cargo of Seville oranges pitched up in Dundee harbour. Not wanting them to go to waste, local entrepreneur James Keiller bought the lot and turned them into the preserve loved around the world today.
