A Musical Tribute by Lowland Folk
The opening two songs were specially written by Stewart to mark the return to Dundee of Scott of the Antarctic's ship RRS Discovery. 'The Pride of the Panmure Yard' tells of the men who built her, the epic voyage and the do-or-die rescue from the pack ice by another Dundee built Ship the Terra Nova. 'Discovery' is an emotional response to the ship's homecoming in 1986. Together, both songs were hailed by Sir Peter Scott as 'a grand tribute to my father's Discovery and the men who worked and sailed her.
